Deanna: dad is "I do" the most powerful words of trust in the world
Dad: what makes you ask that
Deanna: in the movie 'spy kids' the mother said that about getting married
Dad: yes, I remember.
Deanna: are they the most powerful words of trust?
Dad: well, many think so and all who say them hope so - but it doesn't always work that way
Deanna: most marriages don't last do they?
Dad: I don't know about most, but many don't last
Deanna: do you think Dustin and Stephanie will?
Dad: I hope so
Deanna: do you think Mistie and Tom will
Dad: I hope so
Deanna: I don't know about Dustin and Stephanie I think they will and I think Mistie and Tom will - what about you and Mom - you probably won't huh?
Dad: probably not
We moved from there to the general conversation of why people fight with each other - the subject drifted but the innocent weightlessness was amazing. She doesn't yet know - she doesn't yet understand the implications - but she is intuitively moving into readiness
